Day of Arrival at Cape Town International Airport. (Saturday)
Travel-ibiki will pick you up at Cape Town International airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Cape Town. The afternoon is left to you at leisure to settle in and catch up on the jet lag…
Once everybody is settled in we will go for dinner in order to get to know each other before the tour starts.

Day 1 (Sunday)
We will depart after breakfast to Kalk Bay, Muizenberg and Simons Town where you can visit Boulders Beach (sanctuary for African penguins)

We will do a lunch stop in one of these scenic seaside towns – lunch is for your own account.
Our return journey to Cape Town will be via the Chapman’s Peak drive, which is one of the most scenic passes in the world. The drive takes us along the cliffs at the foot of the 12 Apostles mountain range – truly spectacular.

At the end of this scenic journey we will go for dinner at the Richard’s Dinner Theatre, where you will experience some of South Africa’s culture and cuisine, Dinner included.

Day 2 (Monday)
This morning we will leave our accommodation early in order to catch the sunrise on the world famous Lion’s Head at the foot of Table Mountain. (Weather permitting) (we will ask our accommodation to pack us a picnic breakfast to enjoy on Lion’s Head – included)

From Lion’s Head it is a short hop to the Table Mountain Cable Car that will take us to the top op Table Mountain. Spectacular views and breathtaking scenery awaits us at the top.
Lunch will be at the restaurant on top of Table Mountain – for your own account. After descending the mountain we take a short drive to the City Centre to take a stroll through the historic Company Gardens. The Gardens is like a quiet and peaceful haven in the middle of the bustling city, which is steeped in history.

We depart the Gardens for the V&A Waterfront – an International Tourist Destination where we will assist you with a dinner reservation at your choice of restaurants. (Own account) You also have the opportunity to stroll through the waterfront with all its attractions and do some shopping.

Day 3 (Tuesday)
After breakfast we depart for Montague, a quite little town on the famous Route 62. A visit to South Africa will not be complete without sampling some of our world famous wines so today we take you along one of our wine routes. We specifically chose this route since it is less commercialized and more relaxed – so get your cameras ready. While sampling some of the wines you will have plenty of opportunity for photographs.

Arrival in Montague will be around 16h00, where we will check in to our accommodation and then go for dinner (own account)
Day 4 (Wednesday)
After breakfast at our guesthouse, we will depart on a Protea tour which is done on a tractor that takes you through some of the most beautiful country side. (Weather permitted) Get your cameras ready for close ups of Proteas – one of South Africa’s national Flowers and unique to the Western Cape.
Lunch is served on the farm and is one of our traditional South African Potjies (included)
After returning to Montague the rest of the afternoon is spent at leisure exploring Montague on foot. Montague offers small town hospitality, historical buildings and Trees that become home to 18 species of birds.

Day 5 (Thursday)
After breakfast we depart for Oudtshoorn along Route 62. Along the route you will experience the desolation of the Karoo – a different beauty on it’s own. Upon arrival in Oudtshoorn we will do lunch at Highgate Ostrich farm (included) after which we will experience a tour of a working Ostrich farm. For the brave you might even get the opportunity to ride an ostrich!
After our tour we check in to our accommodation to freshen up and dinner at one of Oudtshoorn’s local restaurants (own account)

Day 6 (Friday)
We depart for the Cango Caves after breakfast. The Cango caves have been known by man from the early Stone Age and are one of South Africa’s oldest tourist attractions. The tour includes a tour through the caves and for the brave a crawling through the chimney about 45cm wide!
After lunch at the Caves (own account) we depart for Knysna. The route takes us over the majestic Outeniqua mountains and back into the lush, green coastal region of the Garden Route. On arrival in Knysna we check into our accommodation to freshen up and dinner will be in the Knysna Waterfront where you have a selection of restaurants available (own account)

Day 7 (Saturday)
After breakfast we depart for the Featherbed Ferry which takes us on a leisure cruise on the Knysna Lagoon to the world famous Heads. At the heads we take a hike through some of the most beautiful fynbos where a buffet lunch will be served (included) The ferry takes us back to the waterfront where we can freshen up before exploring Thesen Isle and the waterfront on foot.

Day 8 (Sunday)
After breakfast we depart for Mossel Bay along the scenic Garden Route. We divert through Wilderness to do a short nature walk along the lagoon. We do a light lunch in the village (own account) before we visit the scenic Map of Africa viewpoint.
Our route takes us along the old road between Wilderness and George – completely off the beaten track with magnificent photo opportunities along the way. On arrival in Mossel Bay we freshen up and then enjoy a leisure cocktail at the Blue Oyster Bar before Dinner at The Gannet Restaurant (included)
Day 9 (Monday)
Breakfast at our hotel after which we depart for Indalu Elephant Sanctuary. At Indalu you have the opportunity to walk with elephants, you will be able to feed and interact with these gentle giants.
This is a very personal experience and one not to be missed. We depart Indalu for Botlierskop Game Reserve where we do lunch (own account) and then depart on a 3-hour guided game drive. Botlierskop have 4 of the Big 5 (no leopards) so camera’s ready! We depart Botlierskop for Mossel Bay and dinner in town (own account)

Day 10 (Thuesday)
We depart Mossel Bay after breakfast for Hermanus – the Whale watching capital in South Africa. Depending on the time of year your chances are excellent to spot some whales. (Whale season is from June to November but sometimes they are early!)
On our drive to Hermanus we will pass through some historical towns and will stop for lunch along the way (own account) Once we arrive in Hermanus the rest of the afternoon is spent at own leisure along the scenic walk next to the cliffs with dinner at a cozy restaurant (own account)

Day of departure (Wednesday)
We depart Hermanus after breakfast for Cape Town International airport. Approximate arrival in Cape Town is around 11am at which point we will say goodbye to each other at the airport or alternatively if you so chose we will transport you to your accommodation in Cape Town should you wish to extend your stay (own account)
- Everyone is responsible for their own flight tickets / transportation to arrive in Cape Town.
- Everyone should also ensure they have travel insurance for the duration of their stay as well as insurance on your camera equipment.
- Please note that all activities are subject to weather conditions.
